Middlesex Community Living launched an initiative that brings together the local municipality, businesses, services, and interested citizens to co-create a “Welcoming Community Where Everyone Belongs.”
Through this initiative, businesses and services are recognized with a Decal of Distinction for their efforts to be welcoming towards everyone.
The goal is to promote and achieve greater inclusion and independence for adults with developmental disabilities, and other marginalized people across Middlesex County. Ultimately, the municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc will become known as a ‘Welcoming & Inclusive Community.’
